The perfect duet: Salesforce & Artemis Innovations

Cannamedical Pharma GmbH was founded in November 2016 and is based in Cologne, Germany. It specializes in importing medical cannabis, preferably from Canada, Australia and the Netherlands. Cannamedical Pharma GmbH imports the highest quality medical cannabis products and distributes them to pharmacies and clinical facilities.

The challenge

Cannamedical worked with a variety of individual, unconnected systems

The initial situation

Prior to the Salesforce implementation, Cannamedical’s team was working with a variety of individual, disconnected systems. These included an industry-specific CRM system, a leading ERP system, marketing tools for sending mail, and others. The goal was to unite the individual stand-alone solutions in one system and thus bundle all company processes and data sources.

Our solution approach

The existing CRM system was replaced by Salesforce Sales Cloud. Thus, it is now possible to map all master data, contact persons & sales information. Likewise, the possibility was created to comply with the strict guidelines and requirements for visit reports in the pharmaceutical sector. Thanks to an individual, iPad-optimized solution, sales staff can now create reports directly during the visit or in the immediate follow-up, eliminating the need for post-processing on the PC or in the home office/office.

By transferring the order information from the ERP system, it is possible to ensure an automated and always up-to-date overview of the commission payments. This applies to management as well as to the individual salesperson. This also enabled full account planning, which can be monitored at any time for the current status.

With the help of Salesforce Maps, field sales staff can compile predefined or individual routes and then travel them in a structured manner. A visual clustering of customers according to e.g. sales volume, classification or distance is thus possible with just a few clicks.

Pardot as a marketing solution now enables the planning and execution of mailings. Furthermore, topic-specific landing pages can be integrated on the website and inquiries can be processed in a structured manner in Salesforce.
